videography
vcuarts
Videography has been a passion of mine throughout my development
as an artist and designer. I have been able to strengthen and experiment with these skills throughout my time at VCU.
vibrations
After conducting multiple studies on movement and vibration
through different materials, I created a silent video showcasing these elements in action. I shot each clip using materials I found around me.
FIELDS & FOREST
This project revolved around exploring the environment that I lived in while focusing on one specific object. I used my camera and a tripod to shoot the project alone, embracing my alone time with the space. Traveling from my school in the city of Richmond back to my hometown in Southern Virginia during the pandemic, I wanted to focus on the natural surroundings that I had easy access to. Using my guitar as the focal point and an escape from the outside world, I created a peaceful viewing experience depicting "my home".

"30 Days of Self-Reflection"
Following a prompt to create an "input" that resulted in an "output", I used my own time of emotional reflection to document emotions over the span of a month. Every night I took my most private time to record how I felt, using my phone as an everyday object to create videography that brings the viewer through this personal and vulnerable experience with me.
